Radiohead Remix Contest

Here’s some bona fide Radiohead news for this April Fools Day. They’ve announced a remix contest for the song “Nude.”

You can download five stem mixes through iTunes that are apparently good to go into multiple digital audio workstations (although they’re optimized for use in Garageband and Logic). You have to pay for the material (most remixes are free to enter), but you do get to remix Radiohead, said I guess that makes up for it.

When you’re done with your mix, you can upload it to www.radioheadremix.com for public voting. There’s been no official word about a grand prize. I think the whole idea is to help deserving producers get some exposure.

Contest closes May 1, 2008.
