Featuring Dr. John, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Bill O’Reilly (I sh*t you not), The Creaky Boards vs. Coldplay and Motley Crue (again, not kidding)
I picked up my media pass for the Toronto Jazz Festival Today. Going to check out Dr. John tonight!
Michael Franti and Spearhead won’t be unleashing their new album until September, but their new video for the track “Hey World (Remote Control Version)” can be seen at Spinner right now. If you like the track enough to buy it through iTunes, click here.
Papa-bear O’Reilly has gone on record calling Chris Martin a “pinhead,” but declined to take a stand on whether or not Coldplay plagiarized The Creaky Boards. O’Reilly, get over it; he’s not the reason Gwynneth Paltrow won’t return your phone calls. Creaky Boards, if Coldplay could forgive Sum 41, can’t you do the same for them?
And apparently Motley Crue is cool again (according to Billboard, anyway), but that isn’t helping MTV get around to finishing their biopic. Aspiring filmmakers with diminished capacity to feel shame or appreciate irony, feel free to contact the band directly.
